I have worked in childcare since I was old enough to with my church. I am a bubbly personality, and love building connections and relationships with the kids I work with.

I recently got married, so I am looking for a change in my current retail management schedule. Also, I would love to get back to what I have put most of my life working towards, which is teaching and working with kids.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

- I have volunteered for my church, from 11 years old (11 years) to now teaching my own Sunday classroom.
- I worked with the YMCA summer camp program. I was working with Pre-K to help set them up for success in the start of their Kindergarten school year. I also worked with school-aged children 5yrs-13yrs as a supervisor of the summer camp/group.
- I was the Art Leader for the Hempfield Rec summer program in 2024

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

- I am very big on little to no technology when working with children.
- Outside time is always important. Focusing on motor skills and building their imagination.
- Inside I love reading, crafts, and encouraging imagination play.
- I do typically let the Child decide on what they would prefer spending their time doing, and I direct it to make it more educational and structured.

My experience with special needs children...

- I worked as a Career intern my last two years of high school [phone number hidden] with the high school schedule education class.
- I volunteer with a “Buddy System” for my church. This is a program that I helped start which pairs a leader with a student one-on-one so they are still able to join and enjoy church at a stimulation level that works for them.
