More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have younger cousins of my own that I've babysat. Being in an environment where you have to watch them and entertain them makes you realize the work involved in it. I like to spend time with them, whether it be helping them learn school subjects, playing games with them, comforting them in times of need, etc. I have also volunteered at an event for Corporate Kids and watched over a majority of 90 kids, 0-17. I’m super passionate about learning as I go, and I understand the responsibility and care that’s involved in it. I've also recently been a summer camp counselor for around 2 months and I supervised a variety of kids in different age groups. I’m really interested in gaining experience with childcare, as I hope to carry on with that path in the near future.

My experience with special needs children...
I’m aware of an environment that involves a child with special needs. Two cousins of mine are both nonverbal and autistic. I’m aware that it involves a lot of patience and it’s important to be aware of their needs. They may not be reliant on you at first but it’s important for me to be reliant on them.
