I have hands on experience working with children who have a variety of special needs. I have been a long term babysitter for a 13 year old who had Tourettes, ADHD, and autism. I also was a summer caregiver for an 11 year old who had Autism and ODD, for two summers. In addition to babysitting, I have also cared for several children in a daycare setting who had learning and developmental delays. These experiences have taught ,e patience, understanding, and how to adapt activities and routines to help every child feel supported and comfortable.
