More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Of course as a child I had random odd jobs like walking dogs, shoveling snow, I even babysat my little cousins back then!
As far as actual experience I have over 8 years worth of experience working w/ children, & I don’t plan to stop yet!
My first job is still my favorite job I’ve ever had to this day. It was so much fun &I learned SO much about not only childcare, but gained experience & life skills in countless departments &career paths. If the resort offered it, I did it.
I have also been a Live-Out Nanny for two separate families, one family w/ a newborn & a toddler w/ dwarfism
Within those 8 years I had the privilege of working w/ so many diverse children, ranging in ages from as young as 3 weeks old, through teenage years. I even have had kids from other countries, bilingual kids, kids of various religions &beliefs, & HUNDREDS of kids w/ allergies & diabetes & other similar health concerns like Celiacs or Epilepsy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
At the Resort, there were countless of activities to do & I’ve done just about all of them!
Our daily activities included; swimming, crafts, playground time, hiking, mini-golf, archery, ice-skating(Wintertime), educational programs, free-play w/games, dress up, &painting.
Other activities I enjoy doing w/ the kids; fishing, horseback riding, hay rides, cornhole, getting ice cream, going to the arcade, zip lining, tubing(wintertime), petting zoo, face painting, falconry, paintball, water park, kayaking, making s’mores, having a campfire, movie night, cookie decorating, gingerbread house making, tea time, &various holiday events like pictures w/ Santa & Easter eggs hunts ect.
Outside of the Resort, I love doing anything outdoors, going places, &playing sports. A few of my favorites include; swimming, hiking, s’mores, picking berries, enjoying nature, painting, dancing, going to the zoo, aquarium, trampoline park, movies, arcade, playground, playing football &softball, &making music

I am extremely confident &comfortable working w/ children w/ specials needs. Years of experience as a caretaker, & personal experience as well.
I have ADHD, Anxiety, & Depression that went undiagnosed for 20 years. I struggle some days, it’s not easy but, I always bounce right back &w/ the right tools &support systems anything is possible!
Within 8+years I’ve had the privilege to work w/ kids w/ Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, ADD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, & more
Mental health is extremely important to me &spreading awareness is something I will always do. W/ battling my own demons everyday it gives me an advantage to better understand kids who are struggling to express themselves. It’s already a frustrating &difficult process for children who are learning how to cope w/ emotions &feelings, kids w/ special needs struggle twice as hard so therefore they need twice the amount of patience.
