In addition, I have experience as a lead teacher and youth coach, where I developed strong skills in communication, patience, and child development. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in fun, age-appropriate, and interactive activities that support both learning and creativity. With younger children, I enjoy sensory play, arts and crafts, reading books, music and movement, and imaginative play such as pretend games and role-playing. I also like to incorporate outdoor time when possible, including walks, playground time, and simple games that encourage movement and exploration. For daily routines, I focus on making transitions smooth and fun, whether it’s getting ready, mealtime, or winding down for naps. My goal is always to create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children feel happy, stimulated, and supported while also encouraging independence and confidence through play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny, in my experience, is building a strong sense of trust and safety with both the child and the family. Children thrive when they feel secure, understood, and genuinely cared for, so being a consistent, calm, and positive presence is key.
It’s also about really tuning into each child as an individual—understanding their personality, needs, routines, and emotions—and adapting in a way that supports their development while still making their day fun and engaging. Beyond daily care, it’s being someone who contributes to their growth, confidence, and sense of stability while also maintaining clear and open communication with parents.
