A little bit about me

I come from a large family of 7 girls. My oldest sister is my hero; got her masters degree in early childhood studies and taught me everything i know about children. Each one is different and theres no cookie cutter method for all. I've learned though that patience is key. I am easy going and slow to anger, but im not a pushover by any stretch. I set boundaries and use them. I love music. I play piano and im kind of a nerd...at least academically. I can offer homework help especially in english and spelling; though im competent in all k-12 subjects. I studied art and psychology in college. I specialize in children with disciplinary issues, anger, generally considered problematic. Ive been fortunate in being able to reach these children and help them get through the issues theyre having without any kind of serious escalation. I am able to teach them how to address new issues as they arise so they're not stock piling negative emotions. This is life experience not a certification.
