A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Chyla Joseph. I am an 18 year old soon to be college student. I have worked in paid child care for less than a year as a camp counselor at New York Edge. I have a two year old nephew that I adore and often babysit. When I was around 6 years old my mom babysat 3 kids from ages 2-5. Although I was a child myself I would often help her out and pretend it was my job too. I've had many unpaid nanny experiences, whether it be a family friend's kid or a distant family member. When I was 16 I got my first job as a camp counselor and I absolutely loved it. I worked with pre-k and kindergarten and once a week I worked with 4th and 5th grade. I enjoy going on walks, singing, painting and writing stories. This year I took on a different role as a communications intern at my school but I do miss the playful side of being surrounded by kids. I am happy to relieve any anxieties through extra introductions, being on camera and sending updates.
