I am currently a Direct Support Professional for people of all ages with disabilities for company Penn Reach, I am CPR & First Aid Certified as well as EKG Certified. I have been caring for those with needs since 2017 when my grandmother became ill with dementia and her diabetes get worse. As a child I worked with the YMCA in freehold borough as well as wycoff NJ with the children with Down syndrome, participated in buddy walks and cancer walks . Indoors I enjoy reading and watching tv with the children, and for those who can I enjoy playing board games or coloring with my clients.
Outdoors I enjoy going for nature walks with the children and enjoying some fresh air. For those who can, I enjoy small outings for play time in the parks or small sporty activities

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, taking proper care of your client is the most important part about being a care taker. Most people are in the field for the money and it shows through their interactions with their clients . I love the line of work I am in and I do my job as if the client is my loved one. I have grown very fond of my clients in the past and their families have grown very fond of me while taking care of their loved one.

I have cared for children who are unable to walk, talk, and move. I have cared for those with cerebral palsy, for those with hearing impairment, for those with behavioral disabilities, for those on a feeding tube, for those on puréed diets, and for those with split personalities
