Over the past several years, I’ve worked with children in a variety of settings. I spent three years coaching youth basketball at the YMCA, working with kids ages 5–14. For the past two years, I’ve volunteered in the NICU at Tampa General Hospital, supporting infants and their families. I also work with preschool-aged children through a speech pathology research project focused on early language and literacy development. These experiences have helped me become patient and adaptable when connecting with children of different ages and personalities.

I’m pretty flexible and enjoy whatever the child enjoys! Whether that’s playing outside, doing crafts, reading, playing games, or helping with homework, I like finding activities that are fun and engaging.
