A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Charlie (they/them) and I am a queer educator that has always had a passion for working with children, helping them learn, and keeping them safe. I have taught swim lessons, social emotional skills like managing frustrations and sharing, and have most of my experience with kids with disabilities. I love to teach kids about emotions and advocating for themselves and others. I have a BA from PSU in Child Youth and Family Studies with minors in Special Education and Psychology. I have a limited but working knowledge of both American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish. I am culturally responsive and am able to be respectful in all homes.

I am looking for a COVID cautious family of a single infant, preferably starting around 4 months, for at least a one year contract. Definitely open to additional babies in the future, or nanny sharing.

I am flexible with scheduling but typically looking for 3-4 days a week.
