A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Claire! I'm looking to begin a new nanny position with a wonderful family. I am compassionate, patient, creative, and high spirited. In my free time I like to make arts and crafts, do yoga and meditation, explore the community, read, listen to music, go on walks, and travel. I love including all of these things in my time with my nanny kiddos, while still nurturing every child's own interests and needs. I am a graduate of Marquette University where I studied Psychology and Social Welfare & Justice. I've had years of experience caring for and looking after children as young 6 months old and as old as 16 in schools, daycare, and home settings. I have a passion for early life development and learning, and intentionally continue my education via online courses, books, podcasts, etc. I have a particular interest in Montessori learning and conscious discipline/parenting and would love to incorporate these principles in collaboration with the parents.
