I have volunteered with Project OutReach, an organization which allows parents of special needs children to leave their children in the hands of capable adults and young adults. I worked hands on with special needs children for about two years.

I love hands on activities, whether that is playing with barbies and cars to playing outside. I am up for anything.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny for me is growing close with a family. I don't have much family, nor did I have anyone to trust or rely on as a child, so I would like to help provide that for another family.

I have cared for children with all different kinds of special needs. I have worked more closely to younger children with downs syndrome and autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moment is when I was caring for my cousin and we were building a fort in the living room. Him (5 y/o) and I worked on the fort for about an hour and we made an opening to watch tv and we hid out in the fort for hours with a flashlight and snacks watching paw patrol
