I have a strong background in special education. I have worked in ABA as well as a personal care provider for individuals with disabilities. I am intermediate in ASL, I am comfortable using an AAC device as well as using "first, then language". I would be comfortable with providing some medical care given appropriate training and guidance.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite thing about being a nanny is building relationships with my students. One of my families I have been with since 2018 I still keep in contact with. Having the opportunity to watch their children grow and develop has been a true privilege.
