I am a childcare worker so I work with children part time most days, I also babysit with my sister sometimes if I’m not working, and I try to offer help if possible to mothers who I see need a break!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to get creative with kids! Whether it’s painting, coloring, or creating something new! Playing outside for sure! And I also love playing dress up, playing with their favorite toys with them, or just simply listening to them while they talk about their favorite games and activities to do! I’m a very active person so games like tag or hide in seek is definitely something I would want to play with them! As for smaller kids just honestly spending quality time with them and entertaining them, but most importantly giving them the building blocks to grow, learn and express themselves!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment when taking care of children is when they finally open up to me and they’re able to be comfortable around me. That’s when the fun really starts! Also when they’re silly and playful it definitely makes me smile!
