Hi! My name is cory, I am a momma of 1 boy age 2. I have been caring for children off and on since I was 12, but I more recently just left a full time position of caring for 2 girls aged 3 and 7. I love working with children as I've always found that I'm at my most patient self when around young children. As a mom, I am capable of doing house work, cooking, and caring for children. My hours are very flexible, but I will occasionally have my 2 year old son with me. I have never believed in traditional daycare settings as I believe children benifit more with one on one caring relationships with their nanny or caretaker. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been caring for children here and there for 13 years. More recently I just left a position of caring for 2 children ages 3 and 7 both girls. I also have a 2 year old son of my own.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I thoroughly enjoy going for 'adventures' (nature walks) going to the park, playing hide and seek/tag etc. Indoors I think books, educational activities, and fun puzzles and games are key to successful learning and fun! I quite enjoy doing them with the children as well.

My experience with special needs children...

My son has sensory issues, as well as caring for children with autism. I do not have experience outside of that, but I'm always willing and eager to learn!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment would have to be this past Father's Day. We made handmade fathers day cards for the girls' dad. They had a blast and were so very sweet. The next day when they surprised their dad with it he cried, and I got to experience that moment. It was very heartwarming and possibly my favorite moment shared to date
