A little bit about me

Hi my name is Courtney I come from a big family and I love children. I started being a babysitter when I was maybe 15 years old because I would watch my Family friends kids. Once I got to be in high school I always found myself returning to jobs like Chuck E. Cheese or the children’s place because I wanted to be around kids.

In high school and on I became CPR certified.

I began my journey as the live in/ live out nanny for that family for almost over 2 and a half- three years. I came over in the early mornings and would leave when she got home from work. I go to the parks with the children and I end up playing as well because I create games and it’s fun to be more hands on.

I’m fun loving and young so kids get along with me very well. I can say it’s my truest passion. I love using all of my time and energy to see a child smile and you can do that without a screen! I am a hands on teacher and I’m very devoted to the children I work with. Laughs and boardgames are

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for a family
[children girl age 2 boy age 9] with a single mother who is a nurse, so my duties included coming to the house at 5 AM before her shift started while the kids were still asleep and she would go to work well I care for the children until she got back at 5 PM.

I have also cared for a family
[children (3) boys ages 8 months, 4 yrs old and 2 yrs old]
where the parents were both stay at home and I cared for the house and the children while they needed some much-needed quiet time to focus.

I have also been in Nanny for a family
[child girl 3yrs old] who had a husband who plays traveling for work and a mother who works during the week I will get to her house around 8 AM and I will stay until about five or six whenever her birthday was over so I've had many experiences different families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going to the park for walks and imagination exploring, i also love going on walks during the day to keep the children and myself active, fishing, hikes, bike rides and more fun activities. I love creating new ideas for fun things to get the children out of the house or up on their feet.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The thing that matters to me most about being a nanny is putting in the effort to see your child succeed. To me it doesn’t matter if I get paid at the end of the week but if I know that I made a difference in the kid I’m working with‘s life then my jobs been done. I am such a big heart, and any kid can win me over because they're just so amazing but to me the most rewarding thing about this job is the fact that you get to see the next generation grow beautifully in front of you and see how fast they grow up I like helping people and their families as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I volunteered at a church where I cared for special needs children at a vacation Bible study. I was solely in charge of a girl who needed a lot of extra help. she was so bright but was in a wheelchair and i was able to change her diaper and take care of her needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite Nanny moment was surprising my kids by coming to their dance recital after being away at collage and seeing them dance our little hearts out.
Another one was when my kids surprised me on my birthday, that year I thought that everybody had forgotten about my birthday because I was working so much and I spent so much time with these kids who weren't even mine, and when I came to work that day, they had set up the entire house for me and their little faces lit up with joy because they did something special for me. That is definitely my top Nanny moment.
