Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
A few years ago I ran a homework center for the children in my neighborhood. I set up my yard like a more relaxed classroom setting where they would come with their homework and I help them as well as I’d let them help each other. We did everything from math, English, reading, and Spanish (elementary/primary to high school level) to even physical projects and research papers.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I was caring for a 1 year old once that was very clingy to her mother (that’s understandable seeing that they only had each other since she was born). It took a while and some hard work to get her to detach from her mom but eventually we got there. My favorite moment was the first time she ran to hug me when I got to their house one morning. That was HUGE for us!
