Lead infant teacher for 12 years prior to that I was a lead to Teacher.

I’ve also led an assisted being a counselor and overseeing children aged from five years old up to 17 years old.

I’ve been a nanny for three years for two children three years apart.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is just being there. You want to make sure that there’s always open communication, fun and honesty. You want to make sure that the nanny and the parents are on the same page always and that you’re going to be very lovingly towards their children.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience is at a minimum. In my career, I’ve come across children that may have physical disabilities or may slightly be on the spectrum, but it would be hard to diagnose until they left my classroom. I will just cater to what the parents would want me to do and what they would tell me and I will do different exercise exercises and create different activities for those specific children so they would always have an equal opportunity to learn and grow

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the ones where the children start to pick up on the routine and get excited for what’s going to happen next. I love the silliness that could happen during diaper changes. I especially love taking pictures of the children and seeing their bright smiles so that way I could always send them to the parents so they know what’s going on throughout the day.
