The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel happy, confident, and understood. It’s about being patient, attentive, and adaptable to each child’s unique needs, while also building trust and open communication with their family. I believe that when children feel secure and cared for, they can learn, grow, and truly thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little one I cared for insisted on “helping” me make pancakes and ended up wearing more batter than went in the pan! We both ended up laughing so hard, and by the end, he was so proud of the pancakes he “helped” make. Moments like that—full of giggles, creativity, and pure joy—are what make working with children so special.
