A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Daija and I'm 24 years old. I'm the oldest of 8 siblings. Right now, I worked at a private school called Strelitz International Academy, there I worked as a teacher assistant. Back when I was in high school, I took a Nursing program for a year. In that year I did clinical in the hospital and earned my CPR certification. I have taken care of children from 6 months old to 14 years old. All together I have taken care of 8 wonderful families. This does not include random parents that called me for days that they went on vacations without the children or date nights. I do have experience being a babysitter/nanny with disabled kids. I do laundry, house cleaning, fun activities, errands, medication matters, pet care, play dates, food preparations, assisting with homework, and doing outside activities.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I did clinical hours at a hospital close to where I live. while I was there I took care of children, My mom used to run a daycare at our home so I helped a lot with it, I belong to a organization called 7 City Divaz; in it we helped women but we also did many things for the children as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going to places like the zoo, movies, Busch Gardens, Ocean breeze. Not just those activities , but going to the park, playing "I Spy" , treasure hunts, pretend, video games and much more. Recently I have learned new activities to do with kids since I have started to work as a teacher assistant.

I feel like the most important part about being a Nanny is the safety of the children.
