I like to read, nature walks, crafts, teach them things (it is always rewarding when they remember what you taught them) relevant to their age of course and I also like to provide a safe environment where there is trust and a feeling of security and stability for them to thrive.

The most important part of being a nanny is being reliable to both child and family, provide a loving & stable environment, using opportunities for learnings and keeping the child safe. To be honest I view being a nanny as an extension of the parents to ensure the same values are being upheld and the safety of the child is the number one priority.

My favorite moment was when I taught him how to spell his name. I went over and over it daily and he finally got it. The most rewarding feeling.
