Hello! My name is Dana and I am a 23 year old college student. I try to keep the most positive environment for children. I love staying active and I’m sure your children do too! Working as a swim teacher while in high school really helped me decide my career path. I am currently enrolled at Purdue Global for Speech Pathology. I plan on working with children for my career. The past couple of years I have worked in the restaurant industry, and I am ready to get back into nannying. Possibly both depending on the schedules of the parents. I am on my path to renew my CPR certification. I was previously CPR and AED certified.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a swim teacher ages 4 months - 13 years for 3 and 1/2 years. I also volunteered as a preteen with my mother at Suncrest Christian Church in St. John. Throughout my teenage years and now I have also done babysit jobs in between my regular job

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts! I am also avid on going outside with the children!

Keeping kids engaged. Nannying is not just watching your children. It is about keeping children interested, having them use their minds and creativity.

My experience with special needs children...

I use to teach special needs children at Aqua-Tots.
One was a little 9 year old girl who had cerebral palsy. Another child was partially deaf. I have also taught children with Autism.
