Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Currently I work at a ChildCare facility where I work with mainly 1-2 year olds as a teachers aid but I am familiar with all children from 1-10 years old. I’ve also volunteered 20+ hours at a local church’s children's ministry where I led crafts and facilitated learning. Lastly, I’ve volunteered at our elementary school where I led centers and assisted the teachers with any teaching needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing any type of sensory with children. Some of my favorites are making slime, using shaving cream and sculpting play dough. I also enjoy going outside and exploring.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had some experience with special needs children at my ChildCare job. While the experience is very limited, I am so open to educating myself on how to properly manage a child with special needs. I am willing to take courses or any necessary requirements to take care of a child with any special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of the best moments I have with the kids is when they run up and hug me when they see me for the first time every day. it is something so small but it shows how comfortable and happy they are which means the entire world to me.
