Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy getting children outside for walks, park visits, and exploring nature, as well as reading, arts and crafts, music, imaginative play, and age-appropriate learning activities. I especially enjoy finding activities that match each child's personality and interests while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and development. Most of all, I love laughing, being silly, and making everyday activities fun!
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with ADHD, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges, including helping children through intense or difficult-to-manage tantrums. I believe in remaining calm, patient, and consistent while taking the time to understand each child's individual needs and what works best for them. I also have hands-on experience with G-tube feedings and am comfortable following specific care routines and instructions provided by families and medical professionals.
