Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
As a teen I used to babysit on the side during the school year and during the summer. I also volunteered at a Spanish church school for a few months. I worked at the NEIU daycare center during my first semester there. In March of 2021 I started working at LeVillage Cowork as an assistant and worked my way up to be the infant Lead Teacher position up until December of 2023. I also currently babysit on the side for some of the families I met there! My most recent role was as a temp nanny from January to June caring for a 3 year old and a 6 month old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going on walks and having some outdoor time with children. I love leading music time with them and making some arts and crafts. Working as an infant Lead Teacher has helped me learn about infants and toddlers development and what type of activities will help them reach their milestones.

I truly believe it’s important to be able to build a deep connection with the child but also with the parents. There needs to be love and respect all around. I also believe that communication is the best way to have a great relationship with the family in order to provide the best care.
