Hi my name is DeAjah and I'm currently looking for babysitting gigs. Caring for children is not just a job for me, it's my passion. I have been working with young children through the most formative years of their lives for about 4-5 years now. I've worked with ages newborn-grade school age. Working with kids of a wide age range, l've honed many different skills and techniques. I'm also familiar with Montessori learning. I can also help with light housekeeping, after school activities, outdoor activities, crafts, meal prep etc. I have worked with families and daycares (I'm currently a nanny). The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part about being a nanny is the emotional connection. It’s the little things rocking a baby to sleep, hearing a toddler’s laugh, being the calm in their chaos. It’s knowing that in those everyday moments, I’m helping shape a child’s sense of safety, love, and trust in the world.

This work isn’t just about routines or milestones it’s about presence. It’s about showing up with patience, gentleness, and heart. Children are so intuitive they feel everything. So I do my best to be a constant, someone they can count on, someone who truly sees them.
