I’ve worked in daycare as an assistant teacher for 5 years now. I’ve done nannying for former students and families whom I built relationships with while working in centers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to sing and dance with the children. Music has always had my heart! It’s also a great way to connect with the children and can be a fun way to learn! I love going on walks, reading books, but arts and crafts is also a fan favorite.

Communication and being on one accord with the parent(s) is always most important when nannying because It ensures that the child is receiving the ultimate best care and that you are meeting those expectations. It makes the experience for both parties more relaxed and a smooth sailing.

I have Had the opportunity to work with children with special needs through childcare. I’m currently in school studying special education!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The kids are always making cute little silly faces! I love to make them back! I enjoy pretending to play with the children’s toys even though they are obviously too small for an adult like me ! Haha, the kids always seem to get a kick out of that.
