Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an assistant teacher at a early learning child facility. I have cared for newborns all the way to age twelve.
As I got older I was also an assistant dance teacher for my dance school where I would assist teaching the younger children dances!
I took a Early Childhood and Development class in high school. Throughout the year children would come for pre-school and we would care for them on how we were taught throughout the class.
I have been in charge of getting children off the bus and taking them to extra school circulars or activities as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going on walks, taking them to the beach, going to the park. Even on lazy days lying around on the couch while watching a movie would be my favorite! I feel I connect with a child the most when we're doing activities they like too!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part is growing a connection with your child or children. I think being a good mentor and role model for your children makes the most difference. They repeat actions that they see. As much as it's mom and dads' job to be a good mentor it's mine as well.
My experience with special needs children...
I dont have many one on one experiences. I have been around family friends with a special needs child and I would say for him we care for with caution but as we would any child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I would have to say my favorite moment is getting to share the milestones with the kids! Like potty training or losing a tooth! Sharing the happiness and joy is always an unforgettable moment between me and the kids themselves.
