More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I cared for newborns for over 30 years 1 -multiple births as a baby nurse. I occasionally stayed on as a nanny after 6 months to a year. I also did child care in my home for about a year. As a baby nurse I often volunteer to help with older sibling, mostly by request from the siblings. Hard to avoid because children are often drawn to me.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Play games, sing, dance, exercise, I like to teach the children cleanliness and tidiness I also like to prepare healthy fun meals.
I especially love outdoor activities when the weather permits like parks, riding bikes and what ever appropriate outdoor activities that the children like to do. I’m actually an outdoor person.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I get paid for doing something I love. I feel children is the most precious gift, which is why I spends so much time with my grand children. They bring out the happy in me, no matter what’s going on in my life. I get to have a job I look forward to go to everyday.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have much experience with special needs children but I have a lot of patients and a deep love for children and with some instructions I’m sure I can do a good job with them
The most important part about being a nanny...
I had many favorable moments. One that stood out, brought tears to my eyes , was when the siblings of the baby I was taking care of. Had a surprise birthday party for me and all 4 children wrote me a letter of love and appreciation With gifts of course.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Brooklyn, NY: Bella T.
Hello! I’m a 25 year old Londoner living in New York. I moved to the US over two years ago after receiving a scholarship into NYU to pursue a graduate degree in Performance Studies. Throughout my Masters programme I nannied part time for a family of two girls (5 and 10) in the West Village, as well as other adhoc nannying gigs for families across the city. It was wonderful! I have lots of experience nannying in the UK (in London and Brighton) as well as experience in teaching baby ballet and tutoring creative writing to young adults — before I decided to return to school I was working for Hearst Magazines UK as a junior writer. Since graduating, I have worked for an art fair in Brooklyn. However, I have recently decided to return to part time nannying alongside managing my own curatorial project, a market and experimental performance residency based in Bed-Stuy. I love cooking and animals. I encourage making up stories, creating art, outdoor play and a little mischief.
