times when I volunteered with my grandma’s preschool class for a summer. I read stories at circle time and assisted with crafting activities- mainly readying supplies and cleaning afterwards.
I also babysat for my parents’ friends, family members, and being the oldest sibling, my own parents!

Cooking! I am a plant-based home cook, and I love introducing children to new recipes, while also collaborating with them to come up with new ones. I also love making things from scratch- including play items. Playdough, slime (my fave is the non-sticky variety), and sensory bins are so fun to make!

Cooking something with the kids that the whole family enjoys! When we finish the dish and the first bite gets “mmm!’s” from everyone, it’s so affirming to the kids and their relationship with food and cooking. I love encouraging that.

I have no problem assisting with daily tasks, homework, remote schooling, light cleaning, laundry, etc.
