Hello, I’m a 23 year old college student studying social work. I’m currently studying to become an advocate, my goal is to become a support system for someone who doesn’t necessary feel like they have someone there in their corner. I’m a Mexican American first generation, I love to listen to all kinds of music and bake sweet treats for the people around me, I’m a proud dog mom of a one year old Great Dane. I also have my own photography business I do on the weekends!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat a little boy with special needs before, he was about one when I started taking care of him. I helped with his feedings and took him to his therapy. I have also babysat for close friends and family members. I’ve also worked with two different sets of families and they each had two kiddos, the second family I worked with had 2 under 2. I have experience with an infant and a toddler at the same time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going on walks, I have a dog myself and I love to take her to the park to play with the kids. I enjoy watching Disney movie and I love to do arts and crafts as well. With my previous family I enjoyed taking them to the library and read books. Also doing target runs and getting Chick-fil-A after!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is definitely making sure your little one is safe and to make sure he or she knows they are loved. Growing up I didn’t have siblings but I did have caregivers and I just remember all the times they made me feel loved and made sure I was happy. Therefore I would love to do the same with your little one. Treat them as they were my own.

My experience with special needs children...

As I have talked about before, I took care of a little boy with autism, he was deaf and also required specific times for feelings as he was using a feeding tube. He was one when I started taking care of him and stopped as soon as his mom put him into school. I did help with taking and picking him from therapy as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a nanny was when my nonverbal baby said momma for the first time! It was very exciting to see the little baby grow and start speaking
