A little bit about me

Hi! I'm Dezaray. I just recently graduated Highschool in 2025. I'm taking a gap year and looking for challenging, oppurinative work that aligns with my future dreams. I plan to attend college after my gap year to pursue a higher education in psychology and human development where I hope to achieve a position as a loving and caring children's behavioral therapist. I took Childhood and Development in the Highschool, volunteered at Pullman's community childcare center, and I have volunteered at Pullman Resonate church on Wednesday nights spending time with some of Pullman communities kids! I'm currently a Nanny for a pullman Family, and am looking to take on an evening/night shift position. I aim to build fun, trusting, and positively impactful relationships with kids who's parent(s)/guardians may need an extra set of eyes, ears, hands, and heart!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Teacher's assistant at Pullman Community Childcare Center, ECE class through Highschool, and Volunteer at Pullman Resonate church Wednesday nights supervising Pullman communities kids, and currently a morning-afternoon Nanny!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

interactive play that works on fine motor skills, arts and crafts(coloring, playdough,etc...), being apart of all play: solitary, parallel, structured, and unstructured, etc....

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about being a nanny is how I can impact your children in a way that allows them to develop, grow, laugh, and explore their world with a safe, trusting helping hand. It's that when they get put to bed at night they have a smile on their face, a full healthy tummy, and feel safe and secure only so that they get to wake up the next morning eager to live the next day full of more fun, learning, and growth!

The most important part about being a nanny...

During my volunteering at Pullman Community Childcare Center I made many connections with kids playing outside and such and it was a very sweet and touching anytime I'd have to say goodbye for the day or see them light up when I walked back in the next time!
