While indoor I love getting them to read, maybe teaching them some new words (Spanglish even haha), whatever their parents decide is okay. Outdoors I might take them to parks (if allowed), to get food, anything that’s okay with their parents because boundaries are set differently with every parent.

I feel as though the most important part of being a nanny is trust. Although the parents have to have an immense trust put into you, us nannys have to do the same.
My experience with special needs children...
My sister is disabled, I’ve been taking care of her my whole life as well as some of the special needs kids at the school I graduated. Special needs kids need to be treated like normal kids but cared for differently but the love is immense like no other which is why I mainly prefer taking care of special needs kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was watching one of the little girls I babysat for learn about my culture and ask for the necklace I wore (puertorican necklace). She wore it everyday since. I love when kids learn new things, and when they’re excited to see you as soon as you get into the door. It what makes nannying easy.
