I currently work at the Boys and Girls club. I set activities and follow through everyday. Here I’ve been able to show my skills of caring and good discipline. As we are shown how to properly talk to children and help them speak up as well about there feelings so that they are able to grow as a respectful young child.

I enjoy doing creative activities with children because I enjoy being able to bring out the creativity beheld in the child and being able to see how they view the activity given. It’s great being able to bring out a child’s imagination to life. I believe it also helps them express.

I currently work with 3 children with of special needs that include, autism, adhd, Asperger syndrome. How I work with children of these needs are being able to be patient and understanding to who they are and there feelings. I’m able to respect how they feel and get on a level of understandment with them as I build a relationship built upon trust and respect of there feelings.

My favorite nanny moment has to be when they give me something they made out of thought and appreciation it warms my heart. It also has to be when they come to me to let me know they feel because I feel it it a show of trust.
