My name is Dorka, I am 27years old and I am from the Dominican Republic. I am responsible, friendly, loyal and compassionate, and I am passionate about spending time with family, friends and children. With over 13,000 hours of childcare experience, including working as a school aide and being the oldest of four siblings, I know child development well. My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for premature babies. One of the most meaningful experiences in my career was caring for a beautiful baby boy named Emmanuel, who was born at 7 months. He arrived two months early, and his mother was going through postpartum syndrome, which made it difficult for her to care for him.

I took full responsibility for his care during his first year of life, providing him with love, safety, and dedicated attention during such a delicate stage. When he turned one year old, his mother had recovered, and I had to move to another city.

This experience deeply touched my heart and reinforced my passion for working with babies, especially newborns and those who need extra care and love.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments with children are when, with my guidance, I watch them grow into something new they didn’t know before. I truly love teaching them new things and then seeing the joy and confidence as they put those lessons into practice on their own—it’s the most rewarding feeling. 💛
