A little bit about me

My name is Dylan Elizabeth Balber. I am a certified K-12 Special Education Teacher. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education in 2021. I was honored with the Spring 2021 "Outstanding Student Teacher, Mild to Moderate Award" from the Department of Disabilities and Psychoeducational Studies.

I spent the last year teaching a K-4 resource class. When I took the position, I knew it was a one year temporary position to help out the elementary school. While teaching is a huge passion of mine, I would like to explore different avenues.I am very driven, passionate, and creative and would love to find a way to make an impact in this world.

In my free time I like to take my 5 year old dog,Oscar, to the dog park, go hiking and enjoy playing guitar and writing music.
