The most important part about being a nanny...
I worked a daycare in Suffolk, Va. (Childrens Harbour ) starting my freshman year of college in the summer . But I would return and work on Christmas breaks /Summer Breaks for two years !
I remember one of my favorite babies in the Waddler (Pre toddler) Ro who may have been 1.5 years old at the time . I was determined for him to remember and say my name by the end of the summer .
Long story short , I may have been asking for too much BUT he eventually called me “D” and that was good enough for me !
One of my favorite things about nannying is how a child can truly light up a room . It’s very hard to be upset (for long anyways ) when working with children . They never cease to make you laugh /and smile throughout the course of their development. And that’s really what I love to be a part of .
