Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Growing up, I served in the kids ministry at my church. In college, I volunteered as a play facilitator with a program called WonderSpace. I am currently serving as a pre-school volunteer at my church. I am a substitute teacher with Virginia Beach City Public Schools. I am also certified as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I apply ABA therapy in my work with children who have autism.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love any type of play with children! I enjoy active play outside or play with toys inside! I love doing crafts, singing songs, or having dance parties with kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating meaningful memories and interactions with the kids. It is so important that kids have the space to play and be creative, and it is such a joy to be intentionally involved in their play and development! I am also committed to the rules and standards of the parents.

My experience with special needs children...

I am a Registered Behavior Technician in ABA therapy, which is considered the gold standard for autism treatment. I apply this form of therapy in my work with children who have autism.
