A little bit about me

My name is Ekaterina and I love working with kids. I have a few months of experience working with a toddler, age 28 months-3 years. I have a five-year experience working for a private daycare. I’ve worked with kids ages from 2.5 to 6 years old.
I also have experience working with kids age 6-10. In addition, I have experienced teaching gymnastics and I myself have an athletic background.
When it comes to working with kids, my main focus is to create a peaceful learning environment but at the same time to make it fun. Anything a child could be doing could be an opportunity to learn or to explore some thing and I use these opportunities to teach something every day.
My nannying style could be described as gentle parenting. I believe in explaining things to children in an appropriate manner so they understand and learn. I especially value children’s emotional health. Whenever a child has some difficult feelings, I do my best to help them deal (sit with a feeling/cope/calm down).
