A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Elexia. I’ve been caring for children since I was 14 years old, and working with kids has truly become my passion. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience as a full-time nanny, preschool teacher, karate youth volunteer instructor, and summer camp teacher.
From 2021 to 2023, I worked as a daycare teacher, where I taught and cared for young children, helping them learn and grow through fun, engaging activities. I’m currently a part-time nanny for a wonderful family in Chatham, NJ.
I love creating positive, playful, and nurturing environments — whether we’re spending time outdoors, doing creative projects, or exploring new activities together. I’m also happy to help with light cleaning, tidying up children’s areas, and handling children’s laundry, as keeping things running smoothly for families is important to me.

One of my favorite nanny memories was a winter day when my nanny kids and I spent the afternoon playing in the snow at Camelback. We raced down the hills on snow tubes, laughing nonstop and making the best memories together. By the time we got home, everyone was happily worn out — we made hot chocolate, put on a Christmas movie, and all three kids fell asleep next to me on the couch. It was such a special, heartwarming moment that reminded me how rewarding it is to build those genuine, joyful connections with children.
