A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Jordan, I go by Liz. I started Nannying when I was in 8th grade for my English teachers 2 little girls ages 4 and 6 at the time. I also nannied for another family with 2 children ages 3 and 5. I also have 8 nieces and nephews younger than 5 and a god son who is 5 months so I consider myself to be trained in newborns and toddlers. I just graduated from Ball State University in May (2020). My major is Finance, although I love kids and have always gravitated towards jobs that I get to be around, care for, and teach little ones. I am very energetic and outgoing and am willing to do whatever is needed if I see fit :)

I was a summer school teacher for Hamilton Elementary School working with Pre-k to 3rd graders.

Some activities I enjoy with the kids are indoor games they may like to play, arts and crafts, and anything hands on that they can learn as well! Some outdoor activities I enjoy with them are any physical activities along with learning activities about nature etc.

The most important part about being a Nanny is the love and compassion for kids one has. Without the love and passion I feel you are unable to have fun, teach, and build a connection of trust with the children.

My favorite sweet Nanny moment was when I was babysitting a little girl who I thought to braid hair while counting as she went. The next night when I came to Nanny her mother told me that her daughter had showed her what she learned and was so excited!
