A little bit about me

I love being a mom. My kids are 21 and 16 and 6. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education. I bring my youngest with me when I nanny. We live in Winfield/Lakes of Four Seasons. I homeschool my daughter but will not be homeschooling while caring for your kids. I'm looking for something nearby. I am comfortable and confident with caring for all ages. Before I became a mom, I taught Preschool and worked in daycare. I have worked in before and after school childcare. I have also worked at a summer camp for kids. I spent years volunteering at my sons' schools and I Have worked at my sons' school briefly as an RtI teacher. I have worked in the church childcare as well as volunteered in the kid's ministry. I currently teach pre-k once a week with our homeschool co-op as well as being a leader for our American Heritage Girl's troop.
I am searching for a new family to care for starting in January. I am available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. 7:30 am to 6:30pm.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I taught preschool before having my own kids. I worked in daycares also. I worked in a before and after school childcare program and summer camp. I volunteered for many years in my kids school and I briefly worked there teaching reading. I am currently a stay at home mom and I volunteer in the Kids Ministry at church.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love getting messy with them. We do finger-paints, crafts, play dough, drawing, etc. When it's nice outside we spend a lot of times outdoors. I also love reading to kids, helping with homework for the older ones and playing board games. I love babies also! I'm comfortable with any age and have experience with all ages.
