I am also married, live in Olympia, and have a 6 year old son of my own, so the mother touch is there too. I have a license to drive and my own vehicle, although it is a small commuter car, and a larger vehicle would need to be available for use if the position demands it.

As well as caring for a lovely young man with down syndrome, which required more than average responsibilities defusing arguments with siblings and lending an understanding ear. I have no problem making meals/snacks that fit dietary restrictions, changing clothing and personal hygiene, as well as keeping children safe and entertained. I enjoy creating fun arts and crafts projects, building an awesome lego set, playing some games, or even just relaxing and watching some kid friendly tv/movies; if screen time is okay of course I have no problem enforcing screen time rules and creating other activities. Overall I have spent many hours babysitting and volunteering in my church's children's ministry working with kiddos and am hoping to get back to it. I am currently working at a local pizzeria in Bellingham and am missing my passion of working with children!
