My experience with special needs children includes working with several children on the autism spectrum, as well as children with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). I have developed skills in adapting teaching strategies to meet each child's unique needs, ensuring they receive the support and encouragement they need to thrive. Additionally, I worked for a year in a high-medical-needs group home, where I provided care and assistance to children with more complex health requirements. This experience taught me how to be flexible, patient, and compassionate while managing diverse needs in a structured environment.
