My most recent childcare position was as a live-in nanny in Santa Monica where I looked after a one year old and a thirteen year old full time.

One day the mom and I were having a conversation and we poked our heads into their room after hearing a small noise. That noise, to our surprise, was the one-year-old little girl climbing off of the bed by herself, smiling.
