A little bit about me

My name is Emily and I’ve felt called to childcare my whole life. I was ready to babysit as soon as my next door neighbor let me when I was 12 years old.
I am 23 years old and graduated College of Charleston in May 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology. Linguistics, and more specifically, child language aquisition is fascinating to me. I’m also highly considering applying to a Child Life Masters Program in the future, but want to gain some more experience with children of all ages!
I have nearly 11 years of childcare experience with a variety of ages, but I have a soft spot in my heart for infants and toddlers. I love being silly, throwing dance parties, and coming up with crafts. I truthfully thrive with toddler chaos.
The most recent family I worked for had me for a year and a half, and they had 2 under 2 so I’m very comfortable caring for more than one little one.
