The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing for a Nanny to be is committed.
Theres nothing more that I value in life than full commitment. Children deserve to be heard, attended to, loved, feel appreciated and listened to.
When someone is not consistent, and their commitment falls through (ex: they call out or quit abruptly without a proper transition), it can negatively affect the child's trust and emotions going forward.
I always make sure I am upfront and put what I can officially commit to out there so that there are no issues on either end.
