My whole life there has always been children around. I come from a big family I have 3 younger siblings 2 baby cousins, a niece and a nephew and I have babysat and cared for all of them at some point. I have cared for younger children at school events and church as well.

I enjoy doing activities that involve things they love. It pulls their attention in more and helps them learn more and get more hands on.

I have a niece with William's Syndrome and I have often watched her, I have worked with several students with autism during school actives then I have also babysat a little boy who was deaf, he had cochlear implant so it was very chosen on if he wanted to wear it or not. These are some of my favorite kiddos they really do just bring joy in every room.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I watched these 3 kiddos very regularly for about a year before I moved. We regularly made a pallet on the floor before bed and watch a movie with some snacks. I never watch the movies I always took the time to clean up and make everything pretty again and the oldest P! she came up to me and asked if I would lay down and watch the movie with them because I always do too much and they wanted me to see it too. This filled my heart because they never asked before and made me smile.
