I have been teaching 4-14 year-olds through CPS for the past two years.
Prior to beginning my teaching career, I taught 5-18 year-olds as a part of my student teaching through Michigan State University.
I have taught private art lessons as well as tutored for individual students ages 4-18 through the Roth Academy of Music as well as GoPeer throughout my time as an undergraduate.
I was an Education Intern for the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University, working as a summer camp counselor, Family Day coordinator, guide and educator for school tours through the galleries, and facilitator of after school programming for students ages 4-18.

I love to make arts and crafts with children, as is the primary focus of my current work. I enjoy spending time outdoors (i.e. going to community parks or outdoor spaces outside of the city), visiting museums, engaging with the local library programming, and exploring other engaging community events throughout Chicagoland.
My experience with special needs children...
Both in my experience as an educator as well as my time as a tutor and babysitter, I have experience working with children who have autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent needs.
