I worked for a daycare for a little while, have been a youth camp volunteer, frequently babysit for neighbors, and have a brother who was born when I was 15. I helped raise him, so I am comfortable with a big range of ages.

I like talking walks, going to parks, zoos, pools, museums, etc. Trips to get ice cream or smoothies are always fun too!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have seen from my own reflection on my childhood, my nanny and teaching experiences, and just general observations about people and the world is that children are so impressionable and absorb so much of what and who is around them. The example we set by who we are and how we treat the children in our lives is SO important and one to not be taken lightly.

My family have fostered over 30 children ranging from 0 to 16 years of age including a child who was blind and had cerebral palsy. This invaluable experience made me realize that I would love to pursue a job in the future that involves children.
